Upon booking you will be sent access to our digital guest guide to the properties, local area and attractions that is designed to get you a head start before you arrive and enhance your experience for visiting this magical part of France!
When you book to stay at La Balie, you’ll be sent a link to our comprehensive Guest Guide which uses the TouchStay app. It’s filled with information about the proerty, the local area, shops, museums, vinyards, travel links, local chefs, restaurants and more.
Arrival & Departure
You may check-in at 4.00 p.m. We ask that you leave by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Pets
La Balie accepts dogs and pets on application. Cecile is a fully qualified practising vet, she is onsite to assist your dog if the occasion arises and can issue you with the necessary paperwork to return to the UK with your dog that is now a requirement.
Smoking
La Balie is a non smoking holiday destination, our policy is to prohibit smoking in or outside of the cottages.
WiFi
All of our cottages including the function room enjoy access to Free WiFi
The swimming pool
Our pool is a heated, salt-water pool and at 12m by 6m is large enough for families and children to play in and long enough for some serious lengths! It’s surrounded by a huge terrace with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and has open views over the La Balie gardens and rolling countryside. We also have a hard cover on the pool for added security
Bedding & towels
All linens, bath towels and pool towels are provided for your stay. Our bed linen is 100% Egyptian cotton, our duvets are feather-filled and there’s a choice of feather or anti-allergy pillows. If you’d like an anti-allergy duvet please don’t hesitate to ask. If you’re staying longer than a week we’ll provide fresh linen and towels for you.
Cleaning
We provide dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and other cleaning products for your stay. We don’t add a cleaning charge at the end of your stay but we do ask that you leave the house in a clean and tidy state.
Young children
We have lots of kit suitable for young children – a cot, a high chair, children’s cutlery, plates and bowls, anti-slip mats for the bath, and a few books and games to help keep everyone occupied.
